What we are all about…

The Mass Bay Bears are a lightweight Bear Club organized to connect the fellas of Eastern Massachusetts with each other. We don’t have any dues, don’t have any membership rules, don’t require any sort of commitment, we just get together for good times!

We all hear so often how hard it is to meet fellas, that Boston gay life can be unfriendly or hard to connect to. The Mass Bay Bears thinking is that by putting Bears & Bear-friends in novel situations we’ll meet in different ways, break some old habits, and have a good time doing so. Instead of standing around uncomfortably we’ll have things to do together, stuff to talk about, excuses to meet new guys.

The Mass Bay Bears role in this is helping Bears & Bear-friendly fellas put together events and get word out about them. They’re not “our” events, they’re events hosted for us by fellas just like you, which we’re all invited to attend. Got an idea for an event? Great - we’re here to help YOU make it happen!

In working towards this the Mass Bay Bears are grassroots in our organizing, diverse in our activities, actively doing more across Eastern Mass. then just Boston, and open to Bears and Bear-friendly fellas.
