We keep getting asked “Where’s your logo?” We don’t have one, we have a “wordmark” (so trendy!)

We’re still waiting for the perfect logo and the graphic we tossed up in the meantime kinda grew on us…

So, where to get the official “wordmark”? Make it! Oh, you can grab the one off the top of this web page but honestly feel free to make one to suit your needs, it’s simple:

1. The typeface is “Impact”, which is widely available.
2. White letters, all capitols, centered on a black background, in a big black box if need be.
3. There is no step 3.

Seriously, “MASS BAY BEARS” in Impact, white text on a black background, go from there. Even vertical:

Other notes about the sorts of things artists & webmasters & writers ask:

• We’re “Mass Bay Bears”, not “The Mass Bay Bears”
• Please don’t give the impression we’re only for Bears–lotsa Bears like non-Bears and vice versa!
• We appreciate it if our website is listed bicapitolized as “www.MassBayBears.org” for legibility
• You can call us a club, or a group, or a loosely affiliated open-ended set of ursines & ursine aficionados
• We identify as Bears first, then as a fetish organization, leather-friendly, masculine, social, etc.
• Our style-guide nut buddy informs us the abbreviation for the state is Mass., not MA.
• Please don’t refer to us as Boston-based as we’re explicitly not, indeed one of our priorities is to keep our events spread out across Eastern Mass.
• If you need a blurb to describe us how about cribbing one from our Manifesto?
• We don’t have a postal address or a phone number, we’re online-based. If you need one then contact us and we’ll see if someone will volunteer theirs for your need
