Leather & Bear Kids Toy Drive on Dec. 17th at The Alley Bar in Boston, Mass.

Saturday, December 17: Enforcers NEMass Bay Bears hold the Leather Bear Kids Toy Drive at The Alley Bar in Boston, Mass.

You’ve got Bears with my Leather!

You’ve got Leather with my Bears!

Now together, in one great bar, for a great cause!

The Enforcers NE & the Mass Bay Bears are holding a Toy Drive together on Saturday night, December 17th, with The Alley Bar. We’ll be collecting toys to go to HIV+ kids, and for kids of HIV+ parents, this holiday season.

We’ll be taking donations at the door for folks to drop off toys: Stuffed toys, educational toys, sports toys, toys for tykes and toys for teens, all are needed. We’ll also be asking for cash donations at the door to buy yet more toys.

Inside we’ll have Kinky Leather Daddy Santa hearing what the big boys want. Helping him out will be the Naughty Elf Cubs doing whatever they need to selling raffle tickets for the Gift  Baskets.

Yes, the Leather / Levi / Fetish & Bear Clubs of New England have been challenged to come together and bring Gift Baskets to be raffled off! We don’t know what’ll be in ‘em, we’ll find out that night what each club has come up. Whatever they are we know it’ll be a fun night for all the Leather-folk & Bear-folk to celebrate, and share, the season together!

Please pass this announcement on widely, and consider taking up a collection amongst your friends & co-workers to get toys to these kids, ask ‘em for new unwrapped toys to donate. We look forward to your joining us on Saturday night, December 17th, at The Alley Bar.

Creative Leather / Bear / Seasonal attire is encouraged.

It’s 4am, we just finished putting away the huge piles of toys in the basement…

    It was freakin’ AWESOME.

A great turnout of fellas. Ammaazziinngg toys donated (there are some really wonderful fellas out there!)

The bar - The Alley was sweethearts to deal with: Quick responses to questions, friendly, helpful, we could get spoiled.

The baskets, ohmygoodness, the clubs completely outdid themselves. One huuuge basket after another…

The crowd - we couldn’t sell enough raffle tickets. Heck, we coulda kept selling ‘em but we needed to close down so we could do the draws and be over by 2am.

Tomorrow afternoon I’ll start posting photos and putting together a report, but tonight I am going to sleep just overwhelmed by the generosity and support of everyone.

    Thank you!

Come back tomorrow for details and photos…

    Awake.

I just walked into the basement, where the toys are arrayed: It’s full. Furniture covered in stuffed toys. Entire shelves of Matchbox cars. A tower of board games. Boxes & boxes of big things, from trains to cars to burping baby dolls and tubs of Play Doh.

We’re going through photos now, tagging them, pulling duplicates, fixing red eye. I’ve posted the first 10, I’ll get the whole batch up tonight. Now off to eat breakfast at 2:30pm, take my Dad to buy a Christmas Tree, then back to finish the photos & upload ‘em, send copies to the Enforcers NE.

Wow - it’s just amazing. THANK YOU EVERYONE!
